Fifty-seven framed prints of Victorian maps of individual counties as they were in the 1850s. Each one beautifully drawn in colour and inset with a number of sepia photographs giving little glimpses of everyday life in the 19th century - local people going about their business buildings streets churches rivers boats horses and houses. Maps measure 22 x 17: some are landscape and others portrait. Based on traditional English and Welsh county names and boundaries as of the 1850s.
