Crystal glass Champagne flutes from Dartington Crystal. The award winning Sharon Collection was one of Frank Thrower's earliest designs. It is a classic Dartington design. After the bowl is blown, air is forced into the base of the glass which is then painstakingly drawn into a stem, so creating the distinctive elongated bubble. In 1985 The Victoria & Albert Museum selected the Sharon Design for their exhibition of the hundred best-ever products which included Concorde and The Mini.
