It can record WMA files directly. Meaning that you dont even need a PC to use the player, for example you can just connect the DMR 300 to a CD player via the supplied cable and encode your music into WMA files.The DMR 300 even puts the gaps between the tracks if you want them! As well as direct WMA encoding at a variety of bitrates, the DMR 300 has a powerful microphone and a large easy to use backlit display.The sound quality is excellent, especially with a good pair of Koss headphones.
