Battlefield tops Xbox 360 chart 02 July 2008
Battlefield: Bad Company has debuted at number one on the Xbox 360 weekly chart.
The game was released for sale in stores on June 27th.
At number two was Beijing 2008, followed by The Bourne Conspiracy at number five, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith at number nine and Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath at number ten.
Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto IV continued to appear high on the charts at number three in the third month of its release, Digital Spy reported.
Set in the near future, the Battlefield: Bad Company single-player campaign drops gamers behind enemy lines as part of a squad of four soldiers - risking it all to go AWOL on a personal quest.
Featuring a dramatic storyline flavoured with attitude, the game leads users far from the traditional frontlines on a wild ride with a group of renegade soldiers who decide that sometimes the gratitude of a nation just isn't enough.
