From a single 11-acre site, of ultra-mature Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) vines aged over 1200 years, comes this fine example of the regions winemaking craft. The grapes are picked and de-stemmed by hand, foot-trodden, and the wine aged for 20 months in French oak. Bottled without fining or filtration, the wine has huge texture and an opulent feel. Notes of raisined fruits, cocoa and truffle endure on the lengthy palate.
