The name is an homage to the 15th-century humanist poet Angelo Ambrogini, known as Il Poliziano, who was born in Montepulciano. A bright ruby red wine with an emphasis on fresh redcurrant, raspberry and sour cherry fruit flavours. Dry and moderately savoury, with subtle oak influence, and medium weight and tannins.
