The most prominent winery in the area around the town of Cafayate, with 700 hectares of prime vineyards, built up since the founding of the estate in 1892 by brothers Salvador and David Michel. Intensely aromatic, with a burst of tropical fruits and jasmine on the nose. Exotic characters continue on the palate, with a lively mixture of citrus fruit flavours, with hints of orange peel and anise. Partner with lightly spicy dishes, especially mild Thai curries, or chilli prawns.
