Clos St-Jacques is a 10.5ha vineyard on the outskirts of the town of Colmar, the regional wine capital of Alsace and one of the driest places in France. The dry conditions and stony vineyards have proven to be ideal for cultivation of Riesling. Typically dry and focused Alsation Riesling, offering a lemony bouquet accented with hints of golden apple, acacia and smoky mineral notes. Has a mature, developed and firmly structured feel. Pair with trout or salmon, or with escargots.
