The Quincy appellation produces dry, aromatic wines very much in the same mould as Sancerre. Jean-Charles Borgnat is a young and dynamic producer, and this wine is a match for many a Sancerre. Aromatic nose with spring flowers, racy and rich gooseberry and citrus fruits, hints of greengage, textured palate and a long, fresh and pleasing finish. Excellent on its own, this wine also works very well with vibrant Thai dishes.
