This stylish CD/receiver delivers a healthy 22 watts rms per channel and featurs 4-mode preset EQ and auto source select (press any play button and the system switches on and starts playing). A subwoofer output makes extra bass an option. The FM/AM RDS tuner has RadioText, 40 station presets, auto tuning and a 24hr timer for alarm or unattended recording. The CD player is a high performance design using Denon's multi-bit technology. The supplied remote controls all functions and the optional Cassette and Minidisc.

The SC-M51 speakers are designed and built by Mission specifically for Denon and then voiced by the Denon team to match the new electronics. Two-way bass reflex design. A set of port bungs is supplied to tune the bass for shelf mounting and/or personal taste
