Actively treats minor eye infections and irritations Dibromopropamidine Isethionate, the active ingredient, is an antiseptic used to kill bacteria. Golden Eye Ointment is used to treat minor eye or eyelid infections, such as conjunctivitis and blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids) Directions: Apply once or twice a day. Wash your hands. Tilt your head backwards. Pull down the lower eyelid. Squeeze half an inch of ointment inside the lower lid. Close your eye. Wipe away any excess ointment with a clean tissue. Replace the cap on the tube. If your condition does not improve after two days, stop using the ointment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
