Gilbert Greenall carefully selected Qs recipe for his private reserve because of its extra smooth taste.Q is distilled by the traditional method in a pot still with grain neutral spirit and 5 selected botanicals. The gin is infused with the flavours and aromas of these five botanicals. The first distillation takes place with juniper, coriander and angelica and for final distillation cubebs and lime are added.The Quintessential distillation is a key ingredient of this refined and balanced gin, which is at its best at 45% abv, for both Martinis and Q & T.A slight botanical nose, with a steely, mineral, pronounced alcohol note. Soft, smooth texture. Lovely sweet citrus-peel flavour, balanced with brisk mineral accents.
