With 50 watts per channel, the Eclipse 36is capable of delivering an evolving, rich and dynamic home theater experience. In order to create a space saving half size system with maximum sound quality the complete source part and amplifier part have been separated. The tuner function has been incorporated to avoid any digital interference between tuner and the digital (5 channels) amplifier. Equipped with both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 channel decoding, the Eclipse 36 provides pure emotional surround sound with the thousands of Dolby Digital and DTS encoded DVDs. In addition you can enjoy any 2-channel source in stunning 5.1 channel playback via the build in Dolby Pro Logic II decoder.

The system incorporates the new quick setup function. With only the number of speakers and the size of the room to indicate, all of the necessary settings for high quality music and movie reproduction are optimized automatically. All of the options can also be entered manually via the intuitive menu on the display. This menu can be operated via the easy to use jog shuttle or via the user-friendly remote control.

Having in mind the multitude of today’s surround sound formats to choose from, the Auto Surround mode provides an automatic, optimized signal detection. When a source is selected or a disc is inserted, the system automatically detect and selects automatically the appropriate sound format. The combination of the PS110 amplifier and the DV110 DVD/TUNER allows easy source selection regardless the source. The PS110/DV110 detects the input and changes accordingly without any additional operation by the user.
