The Ultra-Quiet power supplies are fully ATX compatible units, and will directly replace the standard ATX PSU in your PC. They are AMD approved and of course will also work perfectly well in Intel-based systems, bringing about a vast reduction in noise compared to a standard power supply. If you think your PC needs extra power or you would like to have some "in reserve" then you should consider the 300W model. This would apply especially if your PC has multiple hard drives or lots of expansion cards, particularly a 3D graphics processing card. As a guideline, for CPUs running faster than around 800-900 MHz, you should use a 300W PSU.
