Garsdale Station is situated on the famous Settle to Carlisle line, which is often referred to as ‘Britain’s most scenic railway line’. A life-size bronze statue of a Border collie sits on the platform of Garsdale station which commemorates a very special dog, called Ruswarp (pronounced Russup).
