One Earths mission is to reduce waste and minimise the use of natural resources, so they made a torch that doesnt use batteries. Instead, you simply pull the string - so it saves you money, too. One minutes pulling will light the five bright LEDs for 12-16 minutes. It can also be charged by a 12v adaptor (not included). The LEDs should last for up to 50,000 hours use. The torch has a 180 degree swivel head for directional light, a four point magnet located on the clip for hands free lighting, an extra strong pull cord and circuit protection to prevent overcharge.
