Digital Camcorder

The JVC GR-DX95 is a compact Digital Camcorder with HG Digital Still Camera Built-in. Its 1/6 inch 800,000 pixel CCD delivers 520 Lines of video Resolution and XGA/VGA quality still images. A high quality 16x Optical zoom lens is enhanced by 700x DigitalZoom. Among its other features is the invaluable Digital Colour NightScope for filming in extreme low light conditions and a Web Camera Function.

Digital video is stored on MiniDV cassettes, whilst still images and Email Video Clips can be stored on separate MultiMedia memory cards (8mb provided), and downloaded to computer via a USB interface. An Auto Flash is also built in to complete the Still Camera/Video Camera combination.

The GR-DX95 has a 3 Amorphous Silicon LCD Colour Monitor and computer connection is via DV Output/Input (i.Link) (IEEE1394). By using the DV-In feature, users can upload edited footage or graphics from their computer, or other digital devices, to the camcorder. As the signal is digital, the images can be transferredwithout loss of image quality. Analogue Input is also available for uploading an Analogue signal.
