It also features 11 tooth pulleys which run are more durable due to alternating tooth contact: the rear mech also runs quieter due to this feature. The durable lightweight is gained through using an alloy construction. Lighter and more precise shifting is gained through fluorine coating the two link pivot pins and thereby reducing friction.
