There`s a buzz around our tasting room caused by this new arrival ... a sensational turbo-charged red from a single vineyard every local winemaker wants to get the grapes from! Back in the 1940s the Aussie government gave plots of land like this to returned soldiers - but many knew nothing of farming or grape-growing and hired newly-arrived Italians to help out. At Holroyd Farm in stepped a delightful character Old Man Scarfone whose children tend the Shiraz and Petit Verdot vines to this day. T
