The AMPAQ has dedicated itself to the subject, conducted researches and disseminated scientific and biotechnological information about the beverage, besides investing in the implementation of norms to regulate the production of the sugar-cane distilled drink in copper stills. Today, such norms are strictly obeyed by the 300 producers members of the institution.The State of Minas Gerais is the market leader in Brazil in the production of cacha?a in copper stills.
