Royal Doulton Incident at Isandlwana
Isandlwana is a prominent hill close to Rorkes Drift and early in the Zulu Wars it became the scene of a bloody conflict. On the morning of 22nd January 1879, over 1,000 British soldiers and 600 men of the Natal Native Contingent were in position. Their dramatic defeat was followed by the famous victory at Rorkes Drift. Framed size is 60 cm x 50 cm.
