Although the final blend has yet to be finalised, the rumoured approximation is 70 Cabernet , 23 Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc making up the rest. Winemaker, Eric Baugher reckons this is one of Ridges most complex, and possibly greatest vintages of Monte Bello. Dense, purple/black in colour; with mint, cassis and bayleaf tones, and a mass of youthful black fruit. Drinking 2020 - 2025. Shipping from Spring 2013.
