The Daviau family have been farming the land around Brissac, near Anjou in the Loire valley, since 1546. When the latest head of the family, Christophe, took over the business he phased out the arable and fruit production and planted all their land to vines. He then converted to organic production and graduated to bio-dynamic farming a few years later. The wines produced here are solely focused on getting the very best from local grape varieties.
