INFOGRAMME Stuntman (PS2)
From the same production team that gave us the highly-acclaimed 'Driver' Series comes Stuntman, a unique addition to the PS2 canon. As the title suggests, you play a movie Stuntman who is detailed to act out a series of stunts in a number of filmic scenarios - Including a James Bond-ish scene called 'Live for Two Tomorrows' and and Snatch-U-Like scene fantastically titled 'Toothless in Wapping'. You'll be directed by on-screen prompts and a director in your ear detailing which flaming buildings you need to fly through and which empty random cardboard boxes you need to smash up.
Particularly impressive is the level of interactivity with the playing environment, almost of the obstacles, scenery etc can be broken, smashed, damaged or moved. The game becomes progressively harder as you move from low-budget flea-pit movies through to the Hollywood super-mega-blockbuster flicks. The game has it all, except maybe Lee Majors singing the magnificent theme tune to The Fall Guy....on second thoughts, maybe we can live without that after all. "I never spent much time at School, but I taught ladies plenty......"
