This how they should of built it to begin with. |
| Pros: | - You can swap your media cards while it is still on (you hit the power button and select remove). | - You can hold it like a proper phone as well. | - Very comfy in the hand now. | - Bluetooth is good. | - Online mulitplayer. | - Supports MIDP1.0 (or Nokia API for J2ME) | - Symbian 60 OS. So you can get quite a number of applications for it (like an MP3 player). | | The cons (what I didnt like) | - Battery Power. For a games console the power is acceptable. For a phone it isnt. If you dont use the games at all I tend to get 1-2 days before I have to recharge again. | - I have problems with the bluetooth when it comes to transferring files in OBEX. | - Lack of memory on the device itself is an issue, especially in transferring over bluetooth. You are better off copying to the media card via a media reader on your PC. | - I had problems initially trying to get Ngage arena to work even though there were auto configuration scripts online. | | That said I am very happy with the device (I own 2 :). I find it great for development and testing my J2ME applications. |
