This multi-award-winning wine comes from Bodegas Salentein, one of the largest cool-climate estates in Argentina, who have 2000ha of vines, at up to 1700m above sea level. Their Malbec grapes are grown at an average of around 1050m. An intense red-purple colour, with an equally intense nose of plum and bramble. Round and fulsome on the palate, delivering a swathe of ripe, fresh black fruit held together by lush tannins. Try this with a lightly spicy beef or lamb and date tagine.
