Made by winemaker Peter Sisseck,who is also responsible for Pingus, one of the regions most legendary wines. This is a blend of 80 Tinto Fino with 15 Cabernet Sauvignon and 5 Merlot, grown on a superb south-facing vineyard, with the limestone and clay soils that suit these varieties. Around 14 months in 30-50 new French Allier oak barrels completes the smooth, opulent style. Drink now or over the next 5-8 years.
