This wine comes from Alto Maipo close to the Andes Mountains where the oscillations in daily temperature make ideal conditions to grow Merlot. The wine is matured in contact with French oak adding complexity to the dense fruit. Intense aromas of plum, raspberry and blackberry with notes of spice and cedar. The palate is powerfully fruity matched with a good dose of acidity and fine tannins. Try this with roast red meats, charcuterie or hard cheeses.
