The block of vines selected for this wine are located on a Southwest facing slope in the Leyda Estate. Due to this exposure, where the sunlight is slightly less and the influence of the ocean breezes higher than average, the ripening process occurs much slower. This results in more concentration and complexity in the wine. This example has plenty of dark fruit character and touches of sweet spice on the palate. With a long graceful finish it is the perfect accompaniment to warm pigeon salad.
