This is the first vintage of what is sure to prove a much sought after wine. We buy this direct from the Christophe Cordier who was recently judged the best producer in Burgundy in `Bourgogne Magazine.` With a nose of white peach and anise this is still a baby. The palate has wonderful depth, a satin like texture and real vibrancy. 2006 is a very good to great vintage for Chardonnay and whilst the wines will be attractive in their youth they will continue to develop and improve. Drink 2009 - 2012.
