Contino comes from a single 62-hectare historic estate, which has some of Riojas oldest known cellars, located at Laserna in Rioja Alavesa. Now run by CVNE, the estate produces one of the best-known ranges of premium Rioja wines. 2001 was one of the best vintages ever in Rioja, and while this Contino has been designed to be enjoyable immediately, it will reward up to another decade of careful cellaring.
