Mondot is the second wine of Troplong-Mondot, first made in the 1985 vintage, and which has since become a Grand Cru in its own right. A more Cabernet-biased blend, made from the same vineyards as the Grand Vin, and matured for 12-24 months in 75-new oak, depending on the vintage. Offers a rounded and voluptuous style, with a creamy vanilla note, and a hearty backbone of ripe bramble fruit.
