This wine from Burgundys well-established Domaine Chanson, was made by winemaker Jean-Pierre Confuron, who comes from a winemaking family, making wines at his familys estate at Vosne-RomanÃ©e as well as Champagne, before joining Chanson. Intense violet colour and a fresh berry nose with subtle touches of liquorice and spice. The palate has medium weight, supple tannins and a pleasant balance of freshness and depth. Drink cool with spring lamb or duck pÃtÃ©.
