Bodegas de Amezola was founded in the early 19th century. After falling into disuse for many years, the winery was resurrected by the great grandsons of the original founder in 1986, bringing it and its 60ha of vineyards into the modern winemaking age. This mature crianza from the stellar 1994 vintage is still remarkably well structured, offering ripe fruit, well integrated with soft tannins and subtle oak. This wine has been cellared in perfect conditions throughout its maturity in bottle
