A fine red Burgundy from the very home of Maison Louis Latour. The Pinot Noir grapes are grown in the estates own vineyards close to the original Louis Latour winery, with its gravity-fed open fermenters and ancient cellars beneath. Unmistakably Burgundian Pinot nose of ripe cherry with subtle liquorice and oaky notes. Smooth and well balanced on the palate, with elegantly shaped tannins and an enduring, savoury finish. At its best with game such as wild pigeon or grouse.
