We buy direct from this up and coming domaine. Jean-Louis produces sleek and stylish wines which are true to their roots and have a degree of panache only found in the most delicately handled wines of Puligny. Aged in only 20 new oak this 1er Cru has a nose of greengage, wet slate and spring flowers. With a plump and rich palate typical of the ripe 2005 vintage it will work very well with meaty white fish in a rich sauce and drink beautifully over the next 4 years or so.
