Part of our Pop-Up Cellar sourced by Lay and Wheeler. Facing south-east, the La Serra vineyard produces fresh, elegant wines, compared with its more exposed neighbours, a style which suits Gianni Voerzio very well. He produces just one Barolo, but its a beautifully characterful one. This is an intensely pure wine, deeply coloured with a soft mouthfeel. It shows a savoury character initially, but with balancing acidity and tannins coming through, along with some oak aromas on the finish. Very fin
