This is the second vintage from gifted young winemaker Pierre Vincent who has developed Vougeraies style into one of elegance and purity which works exceptionally well in a vintage like 2007. Les Corvees Pagets is a tiny walled vineyard of just 1.48 hectares that produces a very muscular style of Nuits. Pierre has tamed this innate power with his customary finesse and the polished wine is beautifully rounded with a dark fruit profile stony minerality and a velvety finish.
