Unbranded Trash
Trash was the second of Paul Morrisseys lowlife trilogy featuring Andy Warhols superstars - the coterie of beautiful losers who orbited the Factory in search of fun, fame and fabulousness. Flesh, from 1968, dealt with sex. Heat, from 1972, speared Hollywood. Trash, arguably the best of the three, was conceived as an angry response to the New York hipperatis mindless drift into drug-taking.
