Sixth generation winemaker Ricardo Sanz has brought expertise and a flair for modern styles to Spains Rueda region. His speciality is the ancient, temperamental Verdejo grape, whose delicate character is preserved by harvesting at night and fermenting the wines slowly at low temperatures. This seafood-friendly wine, a blend of Verdejo, white Rioja grape Viura, and Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and zesty, with grapefruit, cut grass, gooseberries and tropical fruits.
