And manual focus works well (down to 1.6-inch close-ups). For low-light, nonflash candid shots, you can slow the shutter speed while boosting the ISO equivalency (sensitivity to light)

* The RDC-5000 features video-in and video-out. The camera can therefore be used as a real-time hand-held monitor for a camcorder, a VCR, and other devices.
