Stephanie McLean with future husband Barry Sheene; the legendary motorcycle racing champion who won 19 Grand Prix races and 2 world titles with Suzuki. A model and Penthouse cover girl, Stephanie met Londoner Barry in 1975 while he was on crutches following a 175mph racing accident. As famous for his sense of humour as his incredible resilience to injury, Bazza rode his first motorcycle at the age of five, and once drilled a hole in the front of his helmet to smoke a cigarette on the grid. He and Stephanie eventually emigrated to Australia, where Barry sadly died of cancer in 2003. He is described as a hero both on and off the track (BBC Sport).
