JVC Dual Deck Series of recorder/players makes video viewing simple by combining multiple formats in the same deck, providing the utmost in flexibility, convenience and economy. The HR-XV1, which integrates a HiFi VHS VCR with a DVD player, provides an utmost entertainment experience with its numerous functions and options. The DVD section features DVD-Video, CD, VCD, CD-R/RW, MP3 (CD-R/RW) playback along with Dolby Digital / DTS-Digital-output and Scart with RGB. The VCR section offers SQPB (S-VHS Quasi Playback) in SP-Mode. It allows to play NTSC tapes on a PAL TV in HiFi Stereo in SP-Mode. Other features include HiFi VHS Stereo sound with NICAM/A2, ShowView and much more.
