At the 1957 German GP at the treacherous Nurburgring Fangio drove the race of his life to secure victory over the Ferraris of Hawthorn and Collins. The car has been race aged depicting it with the oil and dust it would have picked up over the gruelling race. Stirling Moss finished fifth in that race in his Vanwall and has added his signature to this model to pay tribute to the master.
