Another special feature on this frame are the decorative cast covers on the corner posts which are made from the highest quality brass. The bed also comes with two options of beech sprung slats that resist sagging and increase comfort: - Integral Slats are self-assembly slats that need to be individually locked into place when assembling the frame. These slats are included in the price. - Deluxe Slats are pre-assembled, supplied as a wooden frame unit to fit onto the side rails of the bedstead and are again a sprung beech design.
