The solution is a dedicated, heavy Centre Channel loudspeaker, with drive units arranged in a DAppolito configuration and voiced for installation on top of or below a screen. Optimised drive units mounted very close together offers uniform directivity with frequency and is thus far less room dependant than conventional designs.The Centre Channel utilises two 150mm mid/bass drive units either side of the HF unit. The drive units were carefully chosen to match the low coloration of the cabinet and then were optimised to suit the cabinet volume and shape. The mid-bass units are magnetically shielded designs utilising a woven, composite cone to ensure rigid, pistonic motion for dynamic transient low-frequency performance,
